Welcome to TouringForLess.com
The Leader in Online Discounted Escorted Tours
-
How is TouringForLess.com able to offer a discount?
Tour companies pay travel agents a commission on each tour sold. Additionally, most tour companies offer
larger commissions for travel agents that book high volumes. This commission is to compensate for
marketing the tours and servicing the client’s needs during the entire booking
process. Travel agencies can choose to
forego a portion of the commission and pass the savings along to its clients. Through high booking volume and effect
communications with clients, TouringForLess.com is able to offer the largest
discounts on every tour company we represent.
-
Where else can I find these types of discounts?
Other travel agencies may discount escorted tours. However, TouringForLess.com has the
largest discounts for all of the tour companies we represent. Where possible we advertise our exact
discount. However, some tour companies
have restrictive advertising policies.
While we cannot advertise our discounts on these tours, you can verify from the
quote you will receive that our discount are, in fact, the largest available.

Why is TouringForLess.com not a member of the Better Business Bureau?
TouringForLess.com is a small family run business. While we investigated registering with the BBB, we found that larger companies can afford to spend the money necessary to buy their rating, and therefore advertise that they are indeed a member and how it reflects on their integrity. We have very low margins and we are a smaller company, and we simply cannot afford the thousands of dollars every year needed to buy a better rating to make us competitive. The bigger you are, the easier it is to buy your ratings. If you are interested in what this means, please feel free to investigate the following links and see for yourself:

Does TouringForLess.com offer the lowest prices on escorted tours?
At TouringForLess.com our goal is to provide you with the largest discounts available on the tours we sell.
We routinely price check our tour provider discounts against our competitors and if we find a competitor offering a lower price we lower ours. In the rare event that you find another travel agency offers a lower price, please let us know so we can update our standard pricing so that everyone can enjoy touring at the lowest price possible.
-
Your competitor is quoting me a lower price, will you match their pricing?
Our competitor's often claim to offer the "lowest price" and offer "low price guarantee", however when you get a quote from us you are provided with your bottom line, the price you pay including all charges and fees. On the other hand our competitors may quote you what seems like a lower price; however when you go to book the tour they add additional charges and fees that were not in their initial price quote, like Air Taxes, Document Fees, Booking Fees, Fuel Charges, Port Charges, Single Accommodation Charges, Airport Tranfer Fees, Document Delivery Fee, etc which can add up to 100's of dollars per passenger. If you get a quote from our competitor at a lower price (with matching line items and options as our quote), we will match their quote and provide an additional price matching discount.
-
When I pay by credit card. Does TouringForLess bill my card?
TouringForLess accepts your credit card information only to provide your tour
operator your billing information. The charge will appear on your credit
card statement from the tour provider, not TouringForLess.com.
Additionally, we always provide you with the tour operator’s confirmation
number.
-
Do you take phone calls?
TouringForLess.com is optimized to efficiently and accurately book your tour at
the lowest price. Once you receive your
quote, you will be able to login to TouringForLess.com and review a detailed
quote with all pricing information and flight itineraries. Additionally, you can complete your
booking online and ask questions about your quote. By routing all communications through the
TouringForLess.com website, we protect our clients by providing an audit trail
of all communications. On the rare
occasions where either TouringForLess.com or the Tour Operator makes a mistake,
we can identify the mistake and resolve it for the client. It is difficult to impossible for a
traveler to get relief from a travel agency or tour company based on
recollections of a phone call with the travel agent.
-
Will my representative be able to assist me after the
sale?
Absolutely, we will do everything possible to make sure you have a safe and
successful vacation. If at any time you
have a question about your tour, you can login to TouringForLess.com and submit
a question. Your question will be routed
to your agent and we will provide you any additional information you require in
a timely fashion. Additionally, we will
automatically send you a payment reminder prior to the final payment due date.
-
Is Touringforless.com financially secure?
Yes, TouringForLess.com is growing rapidly and expanding our offerings at a time
when many travel agencies are closing their doors. However, to provide additional assurance
to our clients we only deal with Tour Operators that have been in business for
many years and are the most respected in the travel industry. Also, at no time
will TouringForLess.com have your money.
Your credit card will be charged by the Tour Operator itself and we will provide
you with the Tour Operators confirmation number for your booking .
-
Why is the tour provider's air price more expensive?
The tour operator's air pricing is generally more expensive than booking
directly with an airline or through a online site (like Orbitz, Expedia, and
Travelocity) because the air purchased through the tour provider is generally
refundable air. Therefore if the tour provider cancels your tour, in most
cases you will be refunded the total purchase of your tour. On the other
hand if you were to book your tour land only and your tour is cancelled and you
purchased non-refundable air (not through the tour provider) you are responsible
for the cancellation fees and charges of the airline or air reseller. If you
decide to purchase your tour "Land Only", TouringForLess highly recommends
booking "Guaranteed Departures" or waiting until the tour is "Guaranteed" before
booking your air in addition to purchasing refundable air from the airline.
-
How will I get my travel documents?
The shipping times will vary from tour
company to tour company. However,
generally you should receive your travel documents 15 to 21 days prior to
departure. TouringForLess always has the
Tour Operator send the travel documents directly to you via UPS Ground. If you have not received your travel
documents at least 15 days prior to departure, login to your booking on
TouringForLess.com and send us a Question/Comment asking us to check the status. On rare occasion, the travel documents are
held up at the Tour Operator, however, 2 weeks is plenty of time to track your
documents and make sure you have them in time for your tour.
-
Does Touringforless.com sell travelers insurance?
Yes, we provide the insurance options offered by the particular Tour Operator. When requesting your quote, you have the
option to select the various insurance options offered by the Tour Operator. You can review the terms the travel
insurance on TouringForLess.com. Simply
