After this river flows through Lake Liambesi it is known as the Chove River. It then flows into the Zambezi. On the north side of the Chobe River are the Caprivi Swamps. This area is noted for its wildlife and for most of its length the land either side is protected as game reserves or wildlife management areas. This may be visited by your Globus cruise.
