Globus Tours with Seville
Seville, Spain, sitting on the plain of the River Guadalquivir, is the fourth largest city of Spain. The Cathedral of St. Mary was built from 1401–1519 on the former site of the city's mosque. The Cathedral used some columns and parts of the mosque. The Giralda, originally a minaret, was converted into a bell tower. It is topped with a statue, El Giraldillo, representing Faith. The tower's interior was built with ramps rather than stairs, to allow riders on horseback to get to the top. The flamenco dance is a popular part of your Globus tour.
