Day: 1 A Monumental Time in Washington, D.C
Welcome to Washington, D.C., the nation's capital. On arrival at the airport, your transfer takes you to your luxurious hotel, proclaimed by President Truman to be Washington, D.C.'s ‘Second Best Address' after The White House. At 18:00, join your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception and an opportunity to get to know each other over drinks and a light meal.(WD)
Day: 2 Washington, D.C. Sightseeing
In the morning, immerse yourself in the proud heritage of a nation. Join a Local Expert to view The White House, the striking Washington Monument and sprawling National Mall. Reflect on the country's most turbulent days at the Lincoln Memorial and the somber World War II Memorial. The rest of the day is at leisure to chart your own course through the capital. Day: 3 Gettysburg and Pittsburgh

Day: 4 Niagara Falls
Start your day with a visit to the Cathedral of Learning. Listed in the National Registry of Historic Places, this 535-foot tall (163 metre), 42 story Pittsburgh landmark is the centrepiece of the University of Pittsburgh's main campus. One of the cathedral's most interesting features consists of 28 ‘Nationality Rooms'—classrooms designed by members of the community in the styles of different nations and ethnic groups.
