The Mekong is a river in Southeast Asia. It is the world's twelfth longest river and the seventh longest in Asia. This river flows throrugh the Yunnan province of China, Burma, Laos, Tailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. This river has extreme seasonal variations in flow and the presence of rapids and waterfalls.
