Day: 1 Arrive New York City
Welcome to New York City. Get settled in at your hotel before meeting your Travel Director this afternoon.
Day: 2 New York City – Philadelphia
Enjoy a guided tour of New York City with a Local Specialist. Venture south to Philadelphia and visit Independence National Historical Park. Visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were both signed. The rest of the day is free.
Day: 3 Philadelphia – Washington, D.C. (2 Nights)
Drive to Washington, D.C., the nation's capital, where you will see many of the city's landmarks including the The White House, The Smithsonian Museums, The Lincoln Memorial and more. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please.Continental Breakfast
Day: 4 Washington, D.C. Free Time
Enjoy a full day at leisure to continue exploring the capital city. Whether you want to delve into American political history, explore the Arlington military cemetery or immerse yourself in the art of the Smithsonian, your Travel Director will be happy to help you plan your day. Day: 5 Washington, D.C. – Lancaster
Enter Pennsylvania Dutch farm country, one of the largest settlements of Amish people in the world. Join a Local Specialist to learn about their interesting culture and way of life. Day: 6 Lancaster – Niagara Falls (2 Nights)
Head northwest, crossing western New York State along the Susquehanna River and through the Appalachian Mountains. As you cross the border into Canada, appreciate the varying landscape before arriving in Niagara Falls late afternoon.Continental Breakfast
Day: 7 Niagara Falls Sightseeing and Free Time
Niagara Falls is perhaps one of the greatest and most famous natural wonders of the world. See the Canadian and American cascades this morning as you cruise to the base of Horseshoe Falls. The afternoon is free to relax or explore further. Perhaps partake in an optional excursion to Niagara-on-the-Lake, including a visit to a local ice winery followed by a fun dinner and show.
Day: 8 Niagara Falls – Toronto
Travel north this morning through the rich farmlands of the Niagara Peninsula before arriving in Toronto. The rest of the day and evening are yours to explore this multicultural city. Perhaps join your fellow travelers for an optional dinner at the famous CN Tower.
Day: 9 Toronto – Kingston – Ottawa
Stop today in the picturesque city of Kingston where you will board a scenic cruise for an introduction to the beauty and heritage of Thousand Islands National Park. This area of the St. Lawrence River is treasured by the locals for its serene atmosphere and refreshing waters. Head to Ottawa where you will enjoy an orientation tour of the city's most famous landmarks. The rest of the day is free.
Day: 10 Ottawa – Quebec City (2 Nights)
As you enter the French-speaking province of Quebec, you'll notice the change in language and traditions. Arrive in Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating back to 1608, the city has retained its fortified colonial core. With its narrow cobblestone streets and stone buildings, it exudes a strong European feel.
Day: 11 Quebec Sightseeing and Free Time
Join a Local Specialist on an exploration of Old Quebec, the historic heart of French Canada. Learn about the city's history and culture while strolling past its many attractions and driving along the famous Plains of Abraham Park. The afternoon and evening are yours to do as you please.
Day: 12 Quebec City – Montreal
This morning, a traditional Iconic Breakfast is served at Erabliere le Chemin du Roy. Enjoy breakfast at this Cabane a Sucre (Sugar Shack) while learning how maple syrup is made and used for various maple products. Travel through the French Canadian countryside to Montreal, one of Canada's liveliest cities. On arrival, embark on an orientation tour of the city with a Local Specialist. This evening is free. Day: 13 Montreal – Boston (2 Nights)
Cross the border back into the United States with a journey into Vermont's scenic White Mountains with quaint wooden chapels and groves of maples-a spectacular sight in autumn. Travel through New Hampshire and view the State Capitol in Concord before arriving in Boston, Massachusetts.
Day: 14 Boston Sightseeing and Free Time
Your morning sightseeing tour introduces you to the famous Freedom Trail, a historic path winding its way through the city as it traces 350 years of history. See The Old North Church, Paul Revere's House, bustling Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and the Boston Harbor, site of the Tea Party and home to Old Ironsides.
