Day: 2 Zurich – Liechtenstein – Salzburg Sightseeing
A scenic drive along Lake Walensee brings you to Liechtenstein where you stop at its capital Vaduz. Follow the Arlberg route into the Tyrol, past the Wilder Kaiser Mountains to Salzburg. This impressive city is dominated by Fortress Hohensalzburg. Day: 3 Salzburg – Vienna (2 Nights)
Admire breathtaking scenery as you travel past Lake Mondsee and through the Wachau Valley to see the impressive Melk Abbey en route to Imperial Vienna.Buffet Breakfast
Day: 4 Vienna Sightseeing
Vienna is a beautiful city featuring grand palaces and buildings such as the State Opera, the Hofburg, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Parliament and the Imperial Boulevards. Marvel at all these wonderful sights with your Local Specialist. Stroll through the oldest part of the city - 'Am Hof'. Spend time afterwards exploring on your own. Day: 5 Vienna – Graz – Piber Stud Farm – Villach
Admire galleried courtyards and Renaissance squares in Graz. Visit the Lipizzaner Stud farm at Piber for a Cultural Insight into the breeding of the athletic white stallions for the Spanish Riding School. Day: 6 Villach – Cortina d'Ampezzo – Innsbruck
The Alpine scenery is breathtaking as you drive into Italy via Carbonin and Lake Misurina. Explore Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Olympic skiing resort set in the heart of the Dolomites. Traverse spectacular mountain passes as you cross back into Austria. At Innsbruck admire the Golden Roof, St. Jakob's Cathedral, the Hofburg Palace and see the Olympic ski-jump during your orientation tour.Buffet Breakfast
Day: 7 Innsbruck – St. Moritz
This morning travel over the border into Switzerland and cross the enchanting Engadine. Arrive later in the fashionable winter sports resort of St. Moritz, where you are free this afternoon to explore the pristine landscape. Perhaps take a mountain pass train ride. Day: 8 St. Moritz – Thusis – Bellinzona – Stresa – Zermatt (2 Nights)
Traverse Alpine landscapes to Thusis and follow the San Bernadino route to Bellinzona, famous for its three castles. Continue via Locarno to the shores of Lake Maggiore and explore the scenic town of Stresa. See the beautiful Borromean Islands as you head towards the Simplon Pass. A spectacular drive through the Rhône Valley brings you to Lake Geneva where you view Lord Byron's Castle of Chillon. Follow the shores of Lake Geneva round to Montreux, famous for its annual jazz festival.Buffet Breakfast
Day: 11 Montreux – Berne – Interlaken – Lucerne Orientation (2 Nights)
Travel via Berne the Federal capital of Switzerland, to Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland, where you see the mighty Jungfrau (subject to weather conditions). Interlaken is one of the oldest and most popular tourist resorts in Switzerland. Cross the Brünig Pass to the charming town of Lucerne. View the Chapel Bridge and visit the Lion Monument, built in the memory of Louis XVI's Swiss Guards, during your orientation tour.Buffet Breakfast
Day: 12 Lucerne
Lucerne is a beautiful medieval town set against an impressive backdrop of mountains.
