Morocco is located in North Africa. The political capital is Rabat, but the largest city is Casablanca. Other main cities re Marrakesh, Tetouan, Tangier, Sale, Fes, Agadir, Meknes, Oujda, Kenitra, and Nador. Morocco is on the Atlantic Ocean and has land  borders with three small Spanish controlled enclaves, Algeria to the east, and Western Sahara to the south. A large part of Morocco is mountainous: the Atlas Mountains and the Rif Mountains. These are mainly inhabited by Berbers. Most of the southeastern portion of the country is in the sparsely populated Sahara Desert.
