European Gateway Transfers
All Trafalgar passengers receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers by shuttlebus on the arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified on the individual itinerary pages. Any passengers whose flight times do not coincide with the shuttle bus transfer timings may choose to book and purchase a transfer. Additionally, passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour day may also book and buy a transfer through Trafalgar providing that they also purchase the additional pre and post tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar.

Trafalgar is pleased to offer complimentary airport transfers at any time either on the first or last day of the tour or on other days in conjunction with pre and post tour accommodation booked through Trafalgar. Airport Transfers in London
Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the airport and your London hotel. But when you book your Trafalgar tour and take advantage of our land and air packages, we have included a FREE transfer to and from Londons airports* and your Trafalgar London hotel. For passengers who have their own flight arrangements we offer you the opportunity to purchase inexpensive transfers to and from Londons Heathrow Trafalgar has negotiated special rates for the Dot2Dot transfer from Londons Heathrow* to the door of your Trafalgar London hotel:
US$40 per person per single trip to/from Heathrow Airport
Trafalgar's transfer terms and conditions:
1. For included transfers: Your flights must be booked directly by Trafalgar no fewer than 21 days prior to departure. For chargeable transfers: Your Travel Agent provides detailed flight information to Trafalgar no fewer than 21 days prior to departure. Once transfers are booked they cannot be changed.
2. For London arrivals, you must stay at a London hotel booked by Trafalgar on the night of arrival and the night prior to your departure date.
3. Trafalgar only includes one inbound and one outbound transfer.
4. In the event of flight delays outside of Trafalgars control, the transfers will be deemed to be cancelled.
5. All transfers are based on group transfers. No refund is therefore available for missed transfers, or passengers not using this service.
6. In the event of unforeseen events (such as road or rail works, strikes or demonstrations), Trafalgar will not be responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
*Heathrow Airport: Dot2Dot will pick up and drop off in time to meet all booked transfers to/from London's Heathrow Airport.
*Gatwick Airport: Passengers who have booked Trafalgar's Land and Air packages arriving at London's Gatwick Airport are provided with a Gatwick Express train voucher. The Gatwick Express train journey from Gatwick Airport to Londons Victoria Station takes 30 minutes. Guests then need to make their way from Victoria Station to their Trafalgar hotel.
Airport Transfers for River Cruises
Arrival Transfers:
Flights in Europe must arrive between 0700 and 1500 and flights in Russia must arrive between 0700 and 1900 on the day that the cruise departs in order to receive airport to ship transfers. Passengers may experience a waiting period of 2 hours or more unless private car transfers have been purchased. Passengers should look for the transfer representative holding a UNIWORLD sign after exiting the customs area. Passengers arriving outside these times will need to make their own transfer arrangements or purchase a private transfer.
Departure Transfers:
Flights in Europe must depart between 0700 and 1700 on the day that the cruise ands in order to receive the ship to airport transfer. Passengers departing outside these times will need to make their own arrangements or purchase a private transfer.
Please Note:
The Best of Egypt, Wonders of Ancient Egypt and Egyptian Voyager transfers are provided in Cairo at any time on the scheduled arrival and departure days.
For extra nights and extensions, transfers can be provided at any time on day of arrival and departure. For European Jewels (Amsterdam to Budapest) and Castles along the Rhine (Amsterdam to Basel,) flight arrival guidelines are 0700-1400. Transfers in Paris are provided from CDG only.
All flight details must be provided to Trafalgar no less than 45 days before flight departure. Please ensure that your Travel Agent reserves your flight to coordinate with the transfer guidelines shown above.
Transfers to and from the Airport to your Trafalgar tour hotel.
With Trafalgar you will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers by scheduled shuttle, minivan, private car, or taxi between designated airports and Trafalgar hotels on the scheduled starting and ending day of your tour. We regret that we are unable to provide complimentary transfers for anyone arriving before the scheduled starting day of the tour and/or leaving after the scheduled ending day of the tour. You may however purchase these transfers from Trafalgar provided that you also purchase your extra night(s) from Trafalgar. Flight information must be provided for our Treasures of the Yucatan and all Hawaii programs.
