Globus Great Sights of Australia with the Ningaloo Reef(PGE3)

16 Day Tour from Brisbane to Perth
Laugh and the kookaburras laugh with you. Cry and the kookaburras still laugh. That’s the beauty of a journey to happy-go-lucky Australia where sunny days are accentuated by its even sunnier inhabitants. Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and wombats are among the many locals eager to greet you on this breezy tour of Australia. With visits to four wondrous waterfront cities, you’ll easily see why the world gushes about the land Down Under. Go behind the scenes at Brisbane’s Australia Zoo, snorkel above the colorful coral at the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Cairns, and devour the panoramic scenery and a delicious lunch at the iconic Sydney Opera House. With two free days in eclectic Melbourne, you can also gobble up all the goodies this hipster city and surrounding areas have to offer. Perhaps take in the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island or chill with a nice chardonnay at a Yarra Valley winery.

Some of the friendliest “locals” you’ll ever meet are just off the west coast of Australia. Add a 4-day Monograms vacation to the Ningaloo Reef to your tour of Australia for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of swimming alongside the gentle whale sharks or humpback whales.

EXMOUTH Today enjoy a once-in-a-life time opportunity to glide alongside whale sharks (April-June) or Humpback whales (July-September). Swimming with one of these beautiful creatures is one of life’s most breathtaking experiences. Also be on the lookout for other playful creations like manta rays, turtles, dolphins, dugongs, and tropical fish. Whale watchers are welcome onboard as well (those not wanting to snorkel). Return to Exmouth where the remainder of the day is at leisure. (B,L)

NOTE:
Whale sharks and Humpback whales are wild creatures. Everything will be done to maximize the likelihood you will swim with a whale, but we cannot guarantee it. Since the whales will continually move, swimming is required to do the interaction. You will need to be a confident swimmer and be able to snorkel and swim freestyle. The whales are found in the open ocean so you may be swimming in currents and swells. If you do not wish to get in the water, you may remain on the boat and watch these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 14THE NINGALOO REEF (EXMOUTH)
EXMOUTH Enjoy a full day at leisure. Take a stroll on the beach or relax at your resort. You may wish to canoe, kayak, or snorkel to explore more of the beautiful Ningaloo Reef on your own.
