$11 Million Customer Protection Plan
For your peace of mind, Avalon provides not just one, but two financial plans
for your protection—the Avalon $10 Million Customer Protection Plan AND the
USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program. Avalon has provided a $10 million
letter of credit issued by a leading bank to protect payments made by its
customers for all 2010 vacation departures. This is in addition to the $1
million assistance plan maintained by the United States Tour Operators
Association (USTOA). Avalon feels it is important to assure their customers and
their travel partners that they are financially secure and that they back their products
100%.
Avalon, as an Active Member of USTOA, is required to post $1 million with USTOA
to be used to reimburse, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the
USTOA Travelers Assistance Program, the advance payments of Avalon customers in
the unlikely event of Avalon bankruptcy, insolvency, or cessation of business.
Further, you should understand that the $1 million posted by Avalon may be
sufficient to provide only a partial recovery of the advance payments received
by Avalon. Complete details of the USTOA Travelers Assistance Program may be
obtained by writing to USTOA at 275 Madison Avenue, Suite 2014, New York, New
York 10016, or by e-mail to information@ustoa.com or by visiting their Web site
at www.USTOA.com.
